About us

I founded Swoon For in February 2015 originally as a blog to have an outlet to share my personal travels, dream destinations, fashion inspirations and lifestyle tidbits. As a former fashion editor in NYC and photo editor for the National Geographic Society, I wanted to combine my love of design and style with my love for exploring and adventure. Constantly on the hunt for unique and authentic items myself, I decided to open a store that offers goods reminiscent of a globetrotter's travels.
The merchandise selected for Swoon For is made by artisans around the globe with many of the items being one of a kind. I curate the collections with an "Ooooo, I need to have that" state of mind (items that I literally swoon for myself). Many of the items for sale offer charitable returns to the artists who've created them, as you'll see noted throughout the store, and is an added benefit to running this small business.
My insatiable wanderlust and passion for travel has led me on many a chase to find special souvenirs for my home or closet, something distinct to each place I've visited. I hope that Swoon For provides you with a dose of international style inspiration whether shopping for yourself or someone else. While some of our goods are produced the same way they have been for centuries, we're also excited to offer modern takes on classic crafts by new as well as established designers.
More merchandise will continue to be added to the shop so be sure to check in regularly or sign up for our newsletter (see the bottom of the page!) to receive all of the updates. I'm constantly on the lookout for new items to offer so rest assured there will never be a shortage of swoon-worthy swag up for offer. Thank you so much for stopping by Swoon For and come back again soon!
P.S. Be sure to follow us on Instagram and share your #swoonforstyle with us. Like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter for flash sales, discount codes and more. You can also see what we're swooning over on our Pintrest boards.
P.S.S. Never take yourself too seriously.
